BUCKINGHAM, Karen Joyce - At London Science Centre Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, KAREN JOYCE BUCKINGHAM, age 53, of London, formerly of Sarnia, beloved daughter of Robert William Buckingham and the late Lily Maude (Wilkinson) Buckingham. Dear step- daughter of Betty (Morrison) Buckingham and dear sister of Deborah Ann Dewan and her husband Terence of London, Kenneth Robert Buckingham and his significant other Karen Douglas-Helps and Linda Joan Buckingham all of Sarnia and Barbara Jean Short and her husband Craig of Mooretown. Niece of Tom Buckingham of Sarnia. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a grand nephew. Born at Westmount, Montreal, Karen had resided in London for the past five years and formerly in St. Thomas and Sarnia. She was employed as a Registered Nurse with Clinidata (Sykes-Canada) and was a member of the Ontario Nurses Association. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, September 29th at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. William Graham officiating. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 noon until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Charity of Choice (cheques only please).
