Alice Margaret STANGLE

STANGLE, Alice Margaret. 1911-2004 Passed away peacefully at the Henri Bradet Nursing Home on September 21, 2004 in her ninety-third year. Cherished wife and companion of the late Arthur H. Stangle. Devoted and loving mother of Arthur (the late Dorothy), Allan (Jean), Grace (Norman Menard), Marilyn (Rudy Schiemek), Frank (Dale), Eric (Jean), Elaine (the late Clifford Mullin) and the late Earl. Alice was pre-deceased by her sister and six brothers. She was the proud grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. A caring person, she was always providing love and comfort to those around her. She was a volunteer for several agencies for the aged. Her quick wit and ready smile remained with her always. Alice will be fondly remembered by everyone for her kindness and generosity. Visitation will be at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20 (Cartier exit 49), Pointe Claire, on Friday, September 24, 2004, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date at Fairview United Church Cemetery, Morrisburg, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital, The Salvation Army or the charity of your choice will be sincerely appreciated.
