BAIN, Russell H. Veteran of WWII, Captain in the Artillery. At the Kingston General Hospital, after a brief illness, on Thursday, September 9, 2004, in his eighty-eight year. Russel is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Mavis (Barwick). Loving father of Bonnie Huskins and her husband Les and Allan Bain and his wife Maret, fond grandpa of Bradley Huskins (Nicole), Ken Huskins and Erin Bain, and great grandpa of Rabekah Huskins. He is the dear brother of Mavis (Meg) Bain. Russell was born in Montreal and moved to Kingston in 1971. He is a member of Chalmer's United Church, a long-time member of the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club and was involved in many community organizations and charities and will be sadly missed by all his friends he has made through the years. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (900 Counter Street, Kingston, Ontario 613-544-3411) on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 1 p.m. Reverend Wayne Hilliker officiating.
