NIEMI, Albert, Richard - In loving memory of Albert Richard Niemi, 71 years of Sudbury, who passed away Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian site. He was born in Foleyet and married June Armstrong. A longtime Donovan resident Albert had been a mechanic at E.B. Eddy Forest Products, retiring in 1997 with 45 years service. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and all things mechanical. His passion was flying and airplanes. Beloved husband of June (Armstrong) Niemi, predeceased 1991. Loving father of Cathy Belong (husband Herbert), Joseph (wife Jacqueline), Dorothea Jeanveau, Albert Jr., Myrtle (friend Ron), Gina Rideout (husband Melvyn) and Robert (wife Jennifer). Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear son of Charlie and Dorothy (Gladstone) Niemi, predeceased. Dear brother of Cheryl Chevrette. Special uncle to 4 nieces and 6 nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Saturday, July 21st, 2007 at 7 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
