CAIRA, Ivo - Passed after a courageous battle on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 50. He will be deeply missed by his father Alfredo Caira and his partner Lesley of Stevensville, his sister Alba and her husband Joseph Farkas of Port Colborne and Lino Caira and his wife Darlene of Sherkston. Ivo will always be remembered by his 4 nieces; Sabrina, Vanessa, Catrina, Illa Marie, his nephew; Cristopher and his great niece; Leah. Predeceased by his beloved mother Elia (2000) and his grandparents; Domenico and Loreta DeRubeis. The family will receive friends at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 3:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to the Special Olympics or St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation.
