HEYWOOD Dennis Robert Heywood passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 29, 2007 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Marion (nee Hatley) Heywood for almost 60 years. Loving father of Kelly (Comfort) Johnson and her husband Earl. Cherished grandfather of Carol Siminoski (Greg), Robin McMullin (Paul), Kelly Gay (Geoff) and great grandfather of James, Rachel, Scott, Ricqui and Keegan. He is survived by his sisters Rene, Jean and Carol and is predeceased by his sisters Joan and Mickey and brother Roy. Dennis served with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry at Dieppe and was a prisoner of War for 3 years.
