Faye BLEEKS

SALTER, Faye Passed away peacefully, with family at her side on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Lorne for 51 years. Loving mother of Cindy MacRae of Kitchener and the late Blair Salter (1988). Dear sister of Wendell Bleeks and his wife Frances, Brenda Nesbitt and her husband Donny, and Shirley Bleeks all of Ottawa. Predeceased by her parents Everett and Miriam Bleeks, her sister Phyllis Mowat and her husband Bob. Faye attended Benton St. Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed her volunteer work with Operation Christmas Child, Meals on Wheels and Salvation Army. Faye's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 - 3:15 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception. Pastor Bob Parks of Benton St. Baptist Church officiating. Cremation to follow.
