Marie MOTTASHED

MOTTASHED, Marie. 1917-2007. Born in London, Ontario in 1917 to the late J. Charles Mottashed and the late Mary Squire Mottashed who died giving birth to Marie. Marie was adopted as a baby by her mother's closest friend, Emma Maker who raised her with loving care, affectionately and unstintingly supported by her husband, Tom and her daughters Gladys and Grace. Beloved friend of the late Esther Zuker, the late Margaret Howes, and of Leona Feyer and Gulzar Bano. Warmly related to four generations of the Zuker family through many happy years of close association. "Think where man's glory begins and ends and say my glory was I had such friends." (W.B. Yeats). Cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the Marie Mottashed Scholarship Fund at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario K7L 9Z9, would be appreciated.
