KNECHTEL, Charles Edward (P.Eng.). Passed away peacefully at the West Island Palliative on Saturday, September 22, 2007. Dear husband of the late Janet (McMillan), beloved husband of Marie France (Morin) of Beaconsfield. Loving brother of Patricia Perrett. Sadly missed by children: the late Brian, Karen (Boris), Cindy, Wendy (Thom), stepson Marc Andre, and his three grandchildren; Nina, Geneva and Ben. Many thanks to Dr. Ades, Olga and palliative care services. Charles was a member of the United Church of Canada, a former member of the Baie d'Urfe Curling Club, and the President and owner of CEK Enterprises. There will be a visitation Friday night at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, Pointe Claire from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 222 Highway 20, Pointe Claire, on Saturday, September 29, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Rideau Memorial Gardens on Sources at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to NOVA West Island, or the West Island Palliative Center.
