Barbara Wealthy OLMSTEAD

COWAN, Barbara Wealthy (nee Olmstead). 1926-2007. We mourn the death of Barbara Wealthy Olmstead at age eighty-one. Born and raised in Sutton, Quebec, she and her late husband Robert "Bob" Cowan sold the Olmstead ancestral home and retired to Call's Mills Quebec in 1976. Devoted mother of Sharron, Heather and Betty, loving grandmother of Amy, Jennifer and David; remembered by her boys - Bob Durkee, Pat Mason and Alan Barker. Her presence will be missed in our family circle. We are sincerely grateful to the staff of the B.M.P. Hospital, especially Dr. Giannangelo, the staff of the Knowlton Medical Center, Dr. "Bill" Barakett, Dawn and Gaby. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the B.M.P. Foundation or the local charity of your choice would be appreciated. A memorial service to be held at Grace Anglican Church in Sutton on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 2 p.m., with the family receiving friends and relatives at the Horizon Hotel following the interment.
