FARR, Ronald Earl - Age 76, of Petrolia, formerly of Sombra Township, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia. Beloved husband of Betsy Ann (Timperley) Farr for 57 years. Loving father of Ronald (Gayle) Farr, Courtright; Bev (Wayne) Rankin, Wilkesport; Jack (Mary Ann) Farr, Sombra; Mary (Terry) Bradburn, Corunna; Lee (Tom) Classen, Sarnia; Dan (Tami) Farr, Sombra. Dear grandfather of eleven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Orrin (Donna) Farr, Brights Grove; Wayne (Judy) Farr, Sarnia. Survived by brother-in- law Ernie (Isabelle) Timperley; Ben (late Margaret) Timperley, sisters-in-law Carol (Steve) Doyle, Karen Farr, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Orlando (Ted) and Katherine (Peachy) Farr, sister Marilyn Farr, brother Bernard Farr, sisters-in-law Joan (Bob) Mandefield, Margaret Timperley. Ronald was very active in all fields of sport, and was inducted into the Lambton Sports Hall of Fame (Lacrosse). Ronald also had a very keen interest in sport hunting and the love for the great outdoors. Friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME BRIGDEN on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 2-4 and 7-9pm with Funeral service on Wednesday October 10th at 1:00 pm. Chaplin Laurel Pattenden officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Wilkesport Cemetery at a later date.
