Mildred NUDDS

ATWATER, Mildred (nee Nudds) - 1923- 2007 - The family announces with sorrow her passing on Tuesday September 25, 2007 at the Golden Manor in Timmins at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Atwater (1997). Loving mother of Deborah Dupuis (Guy) of Schumacher. Dear grandmother of Cory (Jessica) Dupuis of Timmins. Survived by her sister Audrey Bain of New Liskeard and by her nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her parents George and Rose Nudds, by her brothers George Nudds and Ronald Nudds and by her sisters Edith Maiorana, Evelyn MacDonnell, Alice Auten and Dorothy Nudds. Mildred was a very artistic person, she loved sketching and drawing. She was also a former Brownie Leader, a member of the Kirkland Lake Ladies Disking League, she loved bowling, singing and dancing. She was a great mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the third floor Nursing Team at TDH, Dr. Gillies, Dr. Auger and to the Golden Manor East 2 Nursing Staff as well as the activity directors Tracy and Lori. Respecting her wishes, a private memorial service will be held. Interment of ashes will be held in Kirkland Lake. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations made to the Golden Manor Palliative Care or to the Spruce Hill Lodge will be greatly appreciated.
