CHAMBERLAIN, April (nee Lake) - 1970- 2007 - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her untimely death after a brave battle with cancer at Laurentian Hospital in Sudbury on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at age 37 years. She is survived by her loving husband Richard and her two sons Austin and Tyler (both at home). Dear sister of Cindy Boucher (husband Ken) of South Porcupine and John Lake of Toronto. Daughter of Elizabeth Lake of Timmins and the late Tim Lake (pre-deceased 2003). She is also survived by her mother-in-law Ursula Siembida of Surrey B.C., her sister-in-law Tracy Chamberlain of Surrey, B.C. and her nephews Dustin and Michael Boucher of South Porcupine. April will be fondly remembered as a devote wife and mother to her family. She was a woman with an extreme zest for life who attracted everyone to her. The courage and determination she demonstrated when faced with her illness is a testament to her love of life and her loved ones and will never be forgotten. April was also well known as being a dedicated “hockey mom“ who could always be seen enjoying her boys games at many local arenas. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday from St. Anthony's Cathedral. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will received friends on Monday, October 1, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON- WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S.
