Bradley BLAKE

BLAKE, Bradley - (Jan 8th, 1936 - Oct 15th, 2007) of Wyoming Ontario passed away peacefully, at Freeport Healthcare Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Kitchener, Ontario in his 72nd year. Loving husband of Catherine (Scott). Loving father of Susan (Don) Edgar, Scott (Linda) Blake and Shawn (Angelique) Blake. Special Granddad to Nicholas and Jeannie Edgar, Matthew Blake and Mitchel Blake. Brad had a special place in his heart for David, Susan, Travis and Matthew Murray of Sherwood Park, AB. Survived by sisters Doris (Joe) Phibbs, Donna (Robert) Campbell, Florence (Ivan) Minielly, brother William (Sylvia) Blake and sister in-law Elaine Blake. Predeceased by his parents Brad and Doris (Beauchamp) Blake, brother Jack, sister Fran Murray and her husband Bill Murray. Brad greatly enjoyed his final working years at Surface to Surface, where he will be missed by his friends and colleagues. Brad was appreciative of the wonderful healthcare he received in the past several years. The family would like to thank Dr. Stacey Hubey, Dr. Li Wan Po, Dr. Williamson and all the wonderful oncology nurses. Cremation has taken place. A private family grave side service will be held, followed by a reception on Saturday October 20th, 2007 for family and friends at the Wyoming Lions Club Hall, 554 Main St. Wyoming, ON from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. In Lieu of Flowers a donation would be appreciated to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre c/o Hospital Foundation 835 King St. W., Kitchener ON, N2G 1G3 or by phone @ 519-749-4205. 10867916
