RICKEY, Elaine (formerly Johnston) - (Member of the Florence Nightingale Chapter 5, Order of the Eastern Star, Brockville ON) - Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, October 22, 2007. Elaine Johnston, beloved wife of Fred Rickey. Loving mother of Fred Rickey of Mississauga and Betty Worsley of Markham. Cherished by her grandchildren Kevin of Scarborough and Peter (Debbie) of Mount Vernon, N.Y., Becky of Peterborough and Brendan of Markham. Survived by her brother Stanley H. Johnston Jr. (Carol) of Mentor, Ohio. Dearly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stanley H. Johnston and Viola (McIlrath), her step mother Irene (Aikens), sister Mildred Orebaugh. Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor Kidd Blvd) on Friday, October 26, form 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.m A Family Service will be held, with the interment in Oakland Cemetery, Brockville.
