O'CONNOR, Edward "Ed" Peacefully at his home, "Robertson House" on Monday, September 20, 2004, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude McGuire. Dear father of Lorraine (Mark Carroll), Orville (Elaine Boucher), Buddy (Nancy Beaudry), Carol (Dale Sheehan), and Donnie (Marilyn Wilson). Special Grandpa to Jennifer (Sean Durr), Stephanie, Kirk (Sandy), Melanie (Ted Wilson), Darren, Katie, Sarah, Lindsay, Curtis, Christopher, Caitlin and Brendan. Special Great-Grandpa to Annabel, Nicholas, Sierra and Rebecca. Beloved brother of Hilda Sullivan (the late Jack), Linus (Helen McLaughlin), Rita Larabie (the late Arthur), Angus (Theresa McGuire), Bertha Sullivan (Tom) and Elmer. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and close friend Donna Boire and family. Predeceased by his parents William O'Connor and Sarah Daly, brothers Orville, Bert, Arden and granddaughter Amanda. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Elizabeth's Church (Merivale at Leaside) followed by cremation.
