RYAN, Loyola. Of St. Joseph's Allumette Island, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 50 years of Eulalia Kelly. Loving and devoted father of Kelly Anne (Edward) Chartrand, St. Joseph's and Sherry Lynn (Richard) Dyke, Nepean. Loving and special Poppy of Chelsea and Matthew Chartrand and Tyler and Ryan Dyke. Dear brother of Cletus Ryan, Ottawa, Sister Annetta C.S.J., Ottawa and Sheila (Terry) Morris, Pembroke. Brother-in-law of Philip (Eunice) Kelly, Niagara Falls, Garry (Hilda) Kelly, Pembroke and Ethel (T.J.) Godin, Pembroke. Predeceased by a son Barry and parents Joseph Ryan and Martha Healy. Loyola, who loved the land, farmed on the homestead until he had to retire in 2003. Loyola was a former mayor of Allumette Island and served on council for many years. He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends may call at the Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home, Chapeau, Quebec on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday after 9 a.m. Funeral Monday, September 20th to St. Joseph's Church, Allumette Island for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
