TRACH: 'Betty' Henrietta Elizabeth (King) 1929 - 2006 "Betty" Henrietta Elizabeth (King) Trach was born November 28, 1929 in Delia, Alberta and passed away January 22, 2006. Her parents were Alice and Joseph Fulton. She was raised in the Delia area. Betty married Norman Cooper King. Betty and Norman had three children, JoAnne, Pat and Shelley. Betty is survived by her children JoAnne (King) and her husband Wayne Baird, Pat and Muriel King, and Shelley and Dale Morgan. Also surviving are her brothers Jim Fulton, Baxter (Alice) Fulton, Ken (Linda) Fulton; and sisters Isabelle (Bob) Sinclair and Marion (Alvin) Tario. Also surviving are her grandchildren Karen, Aaron, Patrick, Tom, Bob, Carly and Oliver and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Kelly Fulton. Betty was widowed and two years later married William Trach on July 27, 1968. They moved to Camrose and worked and lived there until they retired in Drumheller. After retirement they did some travelling and took numerous camping and fishing trips in the area. Betty's health had been poor for many years and was admitted to the Drumheller Nursing Home where she resided until she moved to the Didsbury Nursing Home to be closer to her children. Betty's funeral was held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 11 AM. in the Courtney-Winter's Chapel in the Valley and was officiated by Father Wayne Poile of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church of Drumheller. Special musical selections included "Amazing Grace" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" After the interment at the Drumheller Cemetery the family warmly welcomed everyone to join them at the St. Anthony's Parish Hall at 1:00 PM for a time of refreshment and fellowship.
