CRAGG: Joseph 1950 - 2006 Joseph Patrick Cragg passed away in Drumheller Hospital, August 29, 2006. Joe was born November 24, 1950 to Robert and Nora Cragg. He was raised in the Munson, Drumheller area on a farm. Joe worked the rigs most all his life, but his greatest love was music, especially country music. Wherever Joe was you could usually find him playing guitar and singing music to friends and family. He loved it. He had many “Gigs” with his dearest friends and second family, Bud and Shelly Bixby and family; who fondly nicknamed him “Uncle Buck”. He will be missed and leaves to mourn his sister, Carol (Tom) Hampton, brothers Timothy Cragg and Melvin (Maureen) Cragg. He is also survived by a niece and nephews and many close friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Nora, and his brother Bob. Joe was just a great guy and liked to be the life of the party. Sadly he lost his battle with cancer. He will always have a special place in our hearts, and with love we “Bid” him farewell. The family expresses gratitude and thanks to Dr. Miller, the nurses and staff at the hospital. A “Special Thank You” to his friend Tom Steele. Services were held Saturday September 2 at Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Chapel. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
