OBITUARY VIOLETA RICKEVICIUTE JURAS Romantic, Protector, Survivor, and Green Thumb Extraordinaire Died at SMH the morning of November 3, 2007 at the age of seventy-seven. Fought an incredible 3 1/2 year battle with two primary cancers and the medical system. Wife of the late Bernardas Juras. Mother of Vijoleta Juras Doell, Danny Juras and Dr. Audrey Juras. Grandmother to Dr. Donald Doell Jr , Elliott & Eden Kobelansky. Mother in law to Dr. Donald Doell Sr. and Allan Kobelansky. Your family and flowers will miss you so much. The family wishes to express deepest appreciation to all those who listened attentively and fulfilled their roles with responsibility and kindness. We remember and acknowledge many nurses, orderlies, housekeepers, blood technicians and other support staff at SMH who synergistically worked together with the compassion and team spirit of a bygone time. We thank the nurses in oncology at the RVH where Violeta began this journey, and the nurses at the CLSC Vieux Lachine who followed her closely and supported her well. Special thanks to Anne-Andree Coursol, a truly outstanding nurse, and to those at the JGH who made Violeta's most recent treatments possible. Immeasurable respect and neverending gratitude to Drs. Adrian Langleben, Karl Cernovitch and Justine Farley. Your presence as healers, professionals, and outstanding human beings is and should always be an example to all physicians. Thank you also to all our friends and colleagues who have supported us through this all.
