Frieda Anna KOMPA

Frieda Anna Jucknat (nee Kompa) Sept 12, 1922 - Aug 4, 2004 It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Frieda Jucknat at the age of 81, on Wednesday August 4 at Timmins & District Hospital. Frieda was born in Friedrichsof, East Prussia, Germany. She immigrated to Canada in 1954, and was a long time resident of Mitchell’s Corner in Kapuskasing until her move to Timmins in 2003 to Extendicare Nursing Home. Frieda was predeceased by her husband Heinz in 1998, parents Adam and Augusta Kompa, and brother Paul. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, son Frank (Diana), Kapuskasing, daughters, Elke Debora (Denis Morel), Kingston, Sylvia (Claude Paiement), Timmins, and grandchildren Jefferey and Jennifer (Raney Marchand) Kapuskasing. Sisters Hilde Zott, Nurnburg Germany, Edith (Werner) Grolla, Munster Germany, Sister-In-Law Helen Demenbreun, Colorado Springs. Funeral Services will be held at the Kapuskasing United Church, Saturday August 7 at 2 p.m., with interment at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Guenette Funeral Home, Kapuskasing, is in care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frieda’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. - 8/6/2004 - ID45
