Domenico LONGO

LONGO, Domenico - Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at GNGH, on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 55 years to Maria Rosa. Dearly loved father of Mary (Jessy) Dorinzi and Joanne Longo of Niagara Falls, Nancy (Gerry) Marchese of Carlisle, and Domenic (Anita) Longo, of Allanburg. Cherished grandfather of Jason, David, Robert, Allison, Adam, Nicholas and Matthew. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him including a brother and brothers-in-law, a sister and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins in both Canada and Europe. He was employed by the City of Niagara Falls for many years, retiring in 1992. Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, on Thursday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil will be held at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 3:30. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Domenico's life will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock at St. Ann's Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
