Sam Elizabeth RUDDELL HERBISON

RUDDELL (HERBISON), Baby Sam Elizabeth - After a brave fight in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at McMaster Children's Hospital, on Thursday November 15th 2007, Sam Elizabeth peacefully passed away. During her short life of one month, Sam made an enormous impact on the lives of her family, nurses, doctors, and all of those who met her. In light of her tenacious spirit, Sam was able to carry her courage and strength on to another infant in need through the Trillium Gift of Life Network. Sam will be deeply missed by her mama and daddy, Anne and Jim, grandparents Don and Liz Herbison (Brantford), Barney and Linda Ruddell (Niagara Falls), along with Uncle Alex and Aunt Brandy (Dallas), and Auntie Jessica (Niagara Falls). Sam is also survived by so many dear family and friends, most of which she never had a chance to know and love. Friends of the family will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Monday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Service in the chapel on Tuesday at 1 pm and will be followed by a celebration of Sam's life at the Charing Cross Reception Suites adjacent to the funeral home.
