KING, Nicholas W. Sr., (Gimaa-waagiwan, mgizi dodem), Retired Lay Minister at the Christian Island United Church, Respected Elder of the Beausoliel First Nation. Entered into eternal rest at his home on Thursday November 15th, 2007, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Edna Ethel King. Dear father of Glenn of St. Catharines, Nick Jr., Edna, David all of Christian Island, Evangeline Hill, Peter, Phyllis of Virginia, Eileen, Gail of St. Catharines and the late Gary and Michael. Lovingly remembered by 27 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Brother of James of Webbwood and the late Gladys Monague, Charlie King, Ethel Sandy, Berley King, Fred King and William King. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Christian Island United Church on Saturday November 17th from 12 noon until 9:30 p.m., then to his residence for visitation on Sunday until time of funeral ceremony on Monday, November 19th at 12 noon. Interment Westend Traditional Burial Grounds. Memorial donations to the Niijii Fund, Christian Island United Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
