VAUGHAN, James Gerald Peacefully following a lengthy illness and with his family at his side in Fairview Manor, Almonte on Thursday, November 15, 2007. Gerald Vaughan, of Corkery, age 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Bertha Carroll. Dearly loved father of Vicki Geuer (Fred), Lorne (Judy), Trudy Scott (Walt), Tony (Sue) and Jack (Nancy). Brother of Mary Ferguson, Loretta Wilson and Michael Vaughan (Nora). Predeceased by 1 sister, Frances O'Brien and 6 brothers, Maurice, Leo, Des, Lorne, Joe & Len. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, Josie, Jake, Alexander, Jennifer, Lori, Mary, David, Kate, Travis, Tyler & Sarah. A private family visitation will be held at the C. R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 127 Church Street, Almonte. Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of the Eucharist and Gerald's life in St. Michael's Church, Corkery on Saturday, November 17 at 10 am. Interment St. Michaels Parish Cemetery. Donations in memory of Gerald may be made to Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation or St. Michael's Church Memorial Fund and would be much appreciated.
