Doreen ALPINE

BOGERT, TIPPET, Doreen (nee Alpine). Peacefully at home on October 22, 2007 in Victoria, BC in her one-hundredth year. Originally from West Kilbride, Scotland and a long time resident of Montreal. Predeceased by her husband Frederick Tippet, son Ian Tippet and her second husband John Bogert. She leaves to mourn her son Michael Tippet, daughter-in-law Ann Tippet of Lennoxville, QC and grandson Christoper Tippet (Kumiko) and great-grandson Kai of Toronto, ON. She also will be missed by her extended family Fiona McKim (Anson) and Sandra Bogert (Patrick) and their families. Doreen will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, wisdom and humour. She volunteered for meals on wheels even into her eighties and she was a great supporter of the SPCA and Canadian Wild Life. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 11/24/2007
