MATHERS, Malcolm Leighton - Passed away peacefully at Princess Gardens Retirement Residence in Peterborough, Ontario on Saturday, December 1, 2007 in his 80th year. Loving husband of the late Jean Mathers. Beloved father of Barbara and Alistair Mathers, father-in-law of Ron Walker and grandpa of Mike and Sarah Walker. Dear brother of Lena Shaw. Pre- deceased by brother Ronald Mathers and sister Ruth Mathers. Sadly missed by friends and family in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Britain and Australia. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, Ontario on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m., Reverend William Peacock officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
