VAN HAARLEM, Ben - At the N.H.S. General Site on Monday December 10, 2007 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Sonja. Dear father of Bernie and his wife Melissa. Dear brother of Jan, Cor, Wim and Gerrit. Predeceased by his sister Artje. Ben enjoyed his days with the Klompen Dancers and Go-Kart racing. Ben will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Niagara St. Chapel of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott) on Friday December 14, 2007 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital Future Regional Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.
