Margaret Jean STEPHENSON

WALKER, Margaret Jean (Nee - Stephenson) - Of Carrying Place passed away after a long struggle with Cancer at Trenton Memorial Hospital on the 19th December in her 73rd year of life. She initially fought and won over this disease through shear grit and determination and with the will to survive. The Cancer however returned with a vengeance and claimed her life. Daughter of the late Christopher and 'Cis' Stephenson. Loving mother to Judith Quante & her husband Hans, Margaret Walker, Chris Walker & his wife Kathy, Lorraine Fortin & her husband Pierre and Frank Walker & his wife Margaret. Dear sister to Christopher George Stephenson. Her family and friends will sadly miss Margaret, and her huge extended family will miss Grandma Marg. The family will receive friends at the WEAVER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - East Chapel, 29 Bay Street, Trenton on Friday December 21, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Service in celebration of Margaret Walker's life will be conducted at the East Chapel on Saturday December 22, 2007 at 11 am. Padre Stephen Merriman officiating. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flower arrangements, it was Margaret's wish that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
