Robert Carl Purdy Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Victoria) PURDY: Robert Carl lost a courageous battle with cancer March 31, 2004 in his 73rd year, surrounded by his family. He will be dearly missed by his loving family; Judith, his wife of 50 years; daughters, Lauren Campbell and Deb MacKenzie; son, David; grandchildren, Troy Campbell (Jessica) and Shelby Campbell; great-grandson, Brody Campbell; sister, Dian Bird as well as many good friends and his buddy Bandit. Following his naval service which included a tour in Korea, Bob pursued a career in sales, spending many years in Kamloops, where he ended his working days with the BC Lottery Corporation. Bob and Judy retired to Victoria in 1998. At Bob's request there will be no funeral service as he preferred to be remembered in our hearts. Cremation will be followed by interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined, however donations to the Victoria Hospice Society, 1952 Bay Street, Victoria, BC, V8R 1J8 would be appreciated.
