Stephanie June Hudson June 11, 1975 - March 31, 2004 It is with great sorrow and sadness that we the family announce the passing of Stephanie June Hudson at the tender age of 28 years. Steph leaves to mourn her precious memory, five children, Langford JR. (12) Sammy, Michelle (11) Mouse, Richelle (8) Peewee, Nichelle (5) Miss Piggy, her baby Bradford (2) Littleman; her favorite niece Francene whom she called her babes. She also leaves her mother and father, Albert and Josephine; grandmother Esther; her sisters, Bernice and Crystal (Leslie); 1/2 sister Priscilla; nephews and nieces and her companion Francis Day whom she called “Stupid Bird” There is so much we all want to say, but the words are so hard to find. We never expected this to happen for you to leave us this way without saying good-bye our dear sister. We miss you. A viewing will take place on Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, from there we’ll leave to Poplar. Wake services will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Poplar River, Manitoba. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6 with Pastor Alex Hudson SR. Officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar River Cemetery where we will lay our dear sister to rest. Active Pallbearers will be Francis Day, Langford Mason, Willie Bruce, Leslie Flett, Orville Bruce and Sam Green. If all the world were ours to give, We’d give it-yes, and more, To see your loving smile again, And greet you at the door. How oft there comes before us, Your dear face, kind and true; For death can never take away Our memories of you. From Mom and Sisters I have lost my soul’s companion, A life linked with my own; And day by day I miss her more, As I walk through life alone. Past her suffering, past her pain, Cease to weep, for tears are vain; She who suffered is at rest, Gone to Heaven with the blest. Your Stupid Bird Stephanie will be remembered by so many who knew her, her uncles, aunts, cousins and her many friends.
