NICHOLS, Roy Orval (30 years of service with the Ontario Provincial Police) - Passed away peacefully after a long illness at the Huronia District Hospital in Midland on Wednesday December 19th 2007. Roy Nichols in his 63rd year was the beloved husband of Barbara of Victoria Harbour. Dear father of John and his wife Jennifer of Hillsdale. Loving grandfather of Jonathan and Joshua. Dear brother of Helen Lynch and her husband Ross of Barrie, Lynn Weir and her husband Don of Barrie and Susan Young and her husband Mark of Barrie. Loving uncle of Brenda, Heather, Jason, Wendy, Carl and many other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Jennett Chapel of the MCCLELLAND & SLESSOR FUNERAL HOME, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Saturday December 22nd 2007 from 12 noon until the time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
