Emily L. MACEACHERN

Emily L. Hodgin 1924 - 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emily L. (MacEachern) Hodgin at the Moncton Hospital on Monday January 7th 2008 at the age of 83 after a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1924 in Main River, NB. Emily is survived by her husband Harold Hodgin of 65 years. One son Donald (Karen) Riverview, NB; four daughters, Carolyn Mazerolle (Orville), Moncton, NB, Donna Mazerolle (Eldon), Dieppe, NB, Beverly Parlee (Gerald), Riverview, NB, & Diane Dunn (James) Salisbury, NB; eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Julia Hutchinson (Ward), Bass River NB; Sister-in-Law, Ruth (MacEachern) Burnwell, Clearwater, FL and Kathleen McEachern, Miramichi, NB. As well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by Parents, Joseph MacEachern (1955) & Sarah Maria (Sullivan) MacEachern (1987); and by Sisters, Florence Pulnick (1998) & Annie Ward, (2006); Brothers, Cecil (1996), Harris (1977), Orley (1998), Rev. Ernest (1970); infant twin brothers, Peter and Matthew, (1914) & infant twin sister, Dorothy (1924); Brothers-in-Law, Frank Pulnick, & William Ward; Sisters-in-Law, Janet MacEachern and Margaret MacEachern. Emily was a charter member of CWL Holy Family Parish and served the church in various capacities over the years. In her spare time, she loved quilting, crocheting, tending to her flower gardens and making mittens for her grandchildren. She loved spending time at the cottage and cherished the special times with her family. The Family would like to thank Nancy and Wanda for their special care. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, January 8th from 2-4 and 7-9pm with parish prayers and sharing of memories at 8:30 pm. Visitation will be held from 10 am on Wednesday until the time of service. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am from Fair Haven Funeral Home chapel with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment in Our Lady Of Calvary Cemetery in the spring. Donations to a memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
