Francis James WALSH

Francis "Jim" James Walsh August 18, 1918 - December 31, 2007 Peacefully in his sleep at Alexander Place, Waterdown on Monday, December 31, 2007 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Walsh (2005). Dear mother of Michael and Connie, Frank and Margaret, and Kathy and Don Jones. Predeceased by his son Bryan. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Rod. Predeceased by his sister Mary and brothers Jerry and Bob. Dad was a graduate of McMaster University, class of 1941. He was well known in the Scouting movement as Scouter Jim. He was also involved in amateur radio as VE3S0N. Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH, 157 Mill St. N., Waterdown, on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11 AM. Interment Grace Anglican Cemetery.
