SHANE Barry It is with great sadness the we announce the sudden passing away of Barry in Calgary on October 25,2007. Dear son of the late Raymond and Lily, dearest brother of Arthur(Ann Ely), father of Andrea and Daria and grandfather to Katrin and Juliet. Barry not only succeeded in the business world, but also excelled in his many passions notably being the youngest Master's handgun champion of Quebec and winning numerous awards and championships from the Canadian Cutting Horse Association of both Quebec and Alberta. He will be sadly missed by his many business associates and his close and loving friends (Bill, Monica) . Special thanks are given to the doctors and staff of the Foothills Hospital and the Fanning Center of Calgary, Alberta which gave such extraordinary care and encouragement in his time of need. Shiva will be strictly private. A memorial service will be held for Barry in Calgary at a later date. A farewell service will take place at Kane and Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd. (corner Isabella) on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 2:00 pm. Condolences one hour prior to service. A reception will follow the service until 5:00 pm. His final resting place will take place at the Mount-Royal Cemetery (Maple Grove) on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:00 am.
