BLANCATO, Gina – Passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday December 31, 2007 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of 43 years to Natale “Nat” Blancato. Dearly loved and devoted mother of Carmen (Gabriella) Blancato, Angelo (Sonia) Blancato and Tina (Cesar) Elizondo. Cherished Nonna of Selena, Peter, Adam, Kristen, Lorraine, Christian and Lucas. Dear sister of Anna and the late Giuseppe Vergalito, Giovanna (Selvino) Cardinale and Maddalena (Salvatore) Iuliano. Dear sister- in-law of Nancy (Jack) Golfi. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Angelo and Giuseppina Cisterna and her in-laws Carmelo and Angela Blancato. Gina came to Canada in 1963 and married her best friend and soulmate Natale in 1964. Anybody that knew Gina, knew that there was never a gentler soul that walked this earth. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. The Vigil for Gina will be celebrated Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
