Lenard Harvey MCCURDY

McCURDY, Lenard Harvey - Passed away at Emmanuel House, Hamilton on January 9, 2008 in his 60th year after a battle with cancer. Survived by his loving mother Ada McCurdy of Owen Sound, brother Alvin (Wanda) of Kitchener, nephew Kirk McCurdy of Kitchener and niece Jen McCurdy of Glasgow, Scotland. He was predeceased by his father Harvey McCurdy in 2006. Lenard was a graduate of Niagara School of Horticulture and was employed by the Niagara Parks Commission and later the City of Hamilton. Visitation at the Church of St. Peter (Anglican), 705 Main Street East, Hamilton at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 13th. Celebration of his life to follow at 2:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to Emmanuel House for taking care of Lenard. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Church of St. Peter (Anglican) or the Canadian Cancer Society.
