OBITUARY STUART DUNCAN LAWRENCE It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of Stuart Lawrence, beloved husband, father and grandfather, at his home on January 11, 2008, in Vernon, B.C. His loss is mourned by his wife Marie, daughter Karyn (Troy), son Ken (Susan) and grandson Mark. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Russell (Joan) of Brandon, Man., brothers-in-law Heinz (Eileen) Kaul of Vernon, B.C. and Udo (Margrit) Kaul of Toronto, Ont., cousin Jerry (Marja) Hogan, Jack Gardner of Montreal, and Eileen Kay of Nassau, Bahamas. He was a graduate of Sir George Williams, McGill and Loyola Universities. He worked for the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal until relocating to B.C. in 1976. He was a talented football player with the NDG Maple Leafs and this love translated to more than 25 years of high school and community coaching. Stu loved Montreal and his frequent visits were the highlights of his life. His upbeat nature, humour and optimism will be missed by his family and friends, who will gather to reminisce and remember him in Vernon, January 18, 2008.
