Mr. Roy Garnet Hatt - April 26, 1928 - May 05, 2004 -retired Canadian Armed Forces, R.C.E.M.E. , member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #560 ) Gone to be with God and his son Don, on Wednesday May 5, 2004. Beloved husband of Therese, loving father of Bill (Kat), Winn (Scott) Kathy (Claude), Tim (Elaine), Tom, Chris (Marg), Ron and Mary (Steve). Cherished by his 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Daisy and Elaine and brother Ron. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Annie Pearl, brothers Douglas, Paul, Bernard, Glenwood and Bradford. Roy led a valiant fight in life .. " Everyone knows how much I failed, no one knows how hard I tried." Be at peace - be with God . Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home , 435 Davis Drive (Waterloo Village) on Friday May 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul the Apostle Church, 1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd, on Saturday May 8 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society , The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation or the Kingston Food Bank in memory of Roy. In the care of Gordon F.
