Joseph KOWBEL

KOWBEL, Joseph (Joe) passed away peacefully Friday, August 10, 2007 at William Booth Hospice in Regina. Born March 19, 1917 in Melville, Saskatchewan to Nicholas and Julia Kowbel. Joe spent his adult life in Regina, predeceased by his wife Monica of 50 years. Joe will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his love of playing cards. He will be missed by his daughter and son-in-law Norma and Peter Dworkis and family of California, sister and brother-in-law Victoria and John Gould of Regina, SK., brother Edward Kowbel of Winnipeg, M.B., sister Mary Dimen of Saskatoon, SK., brother Alex Kowbel of Foymont, ONT., brother and sister-in-law George and Mae Kowbel of Vancouver, B.C., brother and sister-in-law John and Helen Kowbel of Melville, SK, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Reception to follow at the Eagles Club, 1600 Halifax St. In lieu of flowers donations in Joe's memory may be made to the William Booth ~ Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK., S4R 8P6.
