Lorne Henry KURBIS

KURBIS, Lorne Henry - Passed away at home suddenly on Thursday, September 6, 2007. Born December 20, 1939 on the family farm at Biggar, SK, Lorne spent his school years in Qu'Appelle and was later employed by Molson's for 34 years until retirement. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Marie Kurbis; four brothers, Joe, Paul, Charlie and Jim; brothers in law, Harold Kuntz and Chas Hathaway; sisters in law, Olive and Marge Weibel. He is survived by his son, Brent; Brent's mother, Linda, and her daughters, Jessica and Tara; his brothers, Elmer (Jean) and Mick; sisters, Emma, Trudy and Ruth (Dave) and their families, as well as the Weibel family. Lorne had many friends and extended family and his generosity and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those who knew and were close to him. At Lorne's request there will be no service.
