SWEERS, John Alexander - Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice, surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 3, 2008 in his 66th year, John Sweers, beloved husband of Patricia Sweers. Loving father of Jeannette Hamstra (Tom) of Ingersoll, Yvonne Uitterdyk of Brantford, Edward Sweers (Robin) of Brantford, Darrin Conley (Catherine) of Gainesville, Georgia. Dear brother of Mary and Lew Laidlaw, Gerald and Bonnie Sweers, Richard and Fran Sweers, Donna and Kevin Shelby. Much loved grandfather of 16 and predeceased by grandson, Erik Hamstra and great-grandfather of 1 great- granddaughter. John Sweers was a retired employee of Trailmobile, where he worked for 22 years, was a former employee of Massey Ferguson. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Heritage United Church, 360 Colborne Street, Brantford on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has already taken place.
