EDWARDS, Madeleine (nee Marchand) - 79 years, of Tilbury Manor, formerly of Merlin, passed away peacefully at Chatham- Kent Health Alliance on Friday, January 25, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Beverly Edwards (1994). Loving mother of Sharron (Richard) Plummer of Barrie, John (Linda) Edwards of Midland, Robert (Irene) Edwards of Mississauga, Pearl (Robert) Larouche of Merlin, Kevin Edwards of Merlin, Deborah Edwards (Kelly St. Pierre) of Tilbury, Beverley (Marc) Moreau of Grand Bend. Dearest grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Wilfred and Marie (Labonte) Marchand, and step-father Ernest Rivait. Dear sister of the late Evelyn Goodison, Armand, Raymond, and Oscar Marchand. Dear sister-in-law of Flora Duquette of Mississauga, Blanche Edwards of Tilbury, and Sandy Bevacqua of Essex. Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Moose Lodge Blenheim Chapter 1030, and Merlin Friendship Club. Visitation at REAUME FUNERAL HOME, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, and from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday. Moose Lodge service 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service from the funeral home Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m., then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
