Helen Petis (née Farkas) November 22, 1911 - May 16, 2004 Passed away peacefully at Shalom Village on Sunday, May 16, 2004 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leslie. She will be dearly missed but will live forever in the hearts of her daughter Helen (Bob) Morden; her grandchildren Glen and Leslie; her sisters and many nieces and nephews in Hungary, her nephews the late John (Violet) Petis, Nick (Liz) Petis, Mike (Betty) Petis, Ildiko (Laszlo) Puskas and everyone's lives who she touched. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother who was always filled with love, generosity, patience and kind words. Special thanks to the staff of Shalom Village for their kindness over the years. Friends may call at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday, May 19 from 7-9 p.m. Panachyda on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church (521 West 5th Street) on Thursday, May 20 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
