Albert STEFANCSISC

STEFANCSISC, Albert (Senior) Born June 6, 1932 in Kassel, Germany, passed away peacefully after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Friday, January 25, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Eija-Liisa. Dear father of Albert (Jr.) (Marie Gagnon), John (Louise Theoret) and Carita (Sylvain Wilson). Loving grandfather of Sophie, Andrea, Melanie and Patricia. Initially he arrived in Montreal, Quebec in 1954 as a tailor, to start a new life. He met his wife, our mother, and settled in Lachute, Quebec for many years. Once the children were grown, they moved to their retirement home on a beautiful quiet lake in (Lost River) Harrington, Que. Friends may pay their respects at the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 rue Principale, Lachute, Que. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 1pm - 3pm. Service will commence at 3pm in their chapel. We would like to thank the caring and dedicated nursing staff on the Palliative Care Unit. A special thank you to his family Physician, Dr. Francois Theoret.
