Marianne STANEK

PAY, Marianne (Stanek) Marianne (Stanek) Pay left us on February 13th, 2008 at the tender age of 80. We, her children, Frank, Carmen and Waltraud are thankful for the kind and gentle soul that touched so many. She came to Canada from Austria, a city girl and helped open up this country in the '50's living in mining camps with her husband Frank Stanek, an Engineer (passed away at age 36). She met and married Reg Pay, who was the great love of her life. Reg's spirit left Marianne a few years ago and hopefully their stars will collide again. We thank the Staff on the 5th floor at Elisabeth Bruyere for their compassionate care. If you can, please donate to the Cancer Society. A private family service is being held today.
