Alexander Duncan MACMASTER

MacMASTER, Alexander Duncan "Sandy" MacMASTER, Alexander Duncan "Sandy" - 60, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully after a short illness on February 6, 2008, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Hugh and Mary (MacNeil) MacMaster. Alex recently retired from Canada Post after a 35 year career. He was an active member of St. Thomas More Church. He was a friend to all and always willing to help family and friends. Surviving are his loving wife, Lorna (Hartlen); daughters, Jennifer and Debbie (Mike Swinimer); brother, Bill (Estelle); in-laws, Lorne and Marie Hartlen; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Anne Jennex, and brother, Francis. Visitation will be in Dartmouth Funeral Home on Friday, February 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be Saturday, February 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas More, Main Street, Dartmouth.
