Bruce William MORRIS

MORRIS, Bruce William MORRIS, Bruce William - 66, Forest Street, Yarmouth, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at home. Born June 13, 1941, in Raynardton, Yarmouth Co., he was a son of Georgina (Pothier) Morris and the late John B. Morris. Bruce worked as a fisherman. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley (Duckworth) Morris; sons, Bruce (Gaile), Yellowknife, N.W.T.; Robert (Dawn), Manitoba, along with Robert's former partner, Darlene; daughter, Karen (Kenny) Rodgerson, Canaan; four grandchildren; brothers, Phillip, Mississauga, Ont.; Richard (Wendy), Halifax; Raymie (Linda), Ontario; Mike (Ann), Paul (Donna), both of Springhaven; sister, Diane (Ronnie) Boudreau, Springhaven. Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, in Saint Agnes Catholic Church, Quinan, Father John MacPherson officiating. Spring interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
