Ella Mae CORNELIUS

HALEY, Ella Mae "Tootsie" HALEY, Ella Mae "Tootsie" - 74, Halifax, passed away February 12, 2008, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her family. Born in Chester Basin, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Zwicker) Cornelius. "Tootsie" loved her family and had a great sense of humour. She was a great person to be around. She was called "Gran" by many. She is survived by daughters, Shirley, Peggy (Rick), Kathleen (Charlie), Gail (Billy), Joan (Jimmy), Marylou, Annamarie (Al), all of Halifax; sons, Douglas (Ilona), Alan (Darlene), both of Ohio; grandchildren, Rick and Annette, Mandy, D.J. and Freddy, B.J. and Dougie, D.J., Pamela, Randy, Jamie and Jeremy, Jimmy, and Zachry, Jacob and Anthony; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy (Sydney) and Christina, Halifax; brothers, George (Linda, deceased) and Grayling (Dolores), Halifax; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, James; second husband, Douglas; sisters, Daisy, Gladys, Wanita. Visitation will be held today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 15, in Sheffield Baptist Church, 80 Lincoln Cross Dr., Clayton Park, Pastor Henry Grift officiating.
