Mary Olive Gazo (née Gillies) January 06, 1943 - January 19, 2004 Gazo, Mary Olive (nee Gillies) 61 years, peacefully, on January 19, 2004 at the WRHC-Western Campus. Beloved wife of Walter. Loving mother of John and wife Renee, of La Salle; Stacy Gazo and fiance Mike Hogan. Dear grandma to Catherine Gazo (Born Jan. 8, 2004). Dear daughter of the late Jack and Catharine Gillies (nee Tierney). Dear sister of Andrew “Drew” and Joanne Gillies, of Vancouver. Mary was very creative and artistic and enjoyed gardening and geneology. Visiting Wednesday, from 3:00 to 5:00, 7:00 to 9:00; Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830). Rev. Stanley Mantle, officiating. An interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, 2220 Kildare Rd., Windsor N8W 2X3 or to the Diabetes Wellness Centre of Windsor/Essex, 102-1060 Goyeau Ave., Windsor N9A 6Y3 would be appeciated Special thanks to the staff of T3 -East at Western Campus. A tree will be planted in memory of Mary Gazo in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
